Byrådsleder ønsker ramadan-gate i Oslo

OSLO: Tidligere i år pyntet London en egen gate med lysdekorasjoner til ramadan. Nå vil Oslo følge etter.

– I en mangfoldig by som Oslo, hvor mange tror på forskjellige ting, så er det fint å kunne markere høytider hvis folk selv vil det, sier Eirik Lae Solberg.

Neste år håper han at Oslo kan pynte en egen gate med lysdekorasjoner til feiringen av ramadan. Det forteller han Vårt Land lørdag.

Senterpartiet mener derimot at man burde se nøye på lysforurensing og miljøkonsekvenser, før lysslyngene løftes i hovedstaden.
